Milton's Tadpole Feast aka the Village Fete is fast approaching... Saturday 30th June from 2.30 until 5.00 pm and we really hope you can come and join in the fun.
 
The "Events team" have now leapt into action starting to organise this wonderful, family event which will be held once again in the Squire Barrett Playing Field.

The Royal British Legion Father’s Day Curry Lunch

Steventon and District Royal British Legion Branch, which includes Sutton Courtenay, Appleford, Drayton and Milton, is holding a special Curry Lunch on Sunday 17 June in Steventon Village Hall.

 

The lunch, provided by Tiffins, will include chicken, lamb and vegetarian curry dishes with ice cream to follow.

Deal or No Deal?

There has been much talk of “The Growth Deal” – Government’s deal with Oxfordshire County Council in which Oxfordshire will get £215m towards infrastructure and affordable housing in exchange for undertaking to build 100,000 homes by 2031. More than a quarter have already been built and 5 out of 6 District Councils have already signed up to build the rest in their Local Plans. So this is just extra money we didn’t know we were getting, isn’t it?
