Thames Water Blitz

More than 400 sampling kits were sent to helpers in Oxfordshire and beyond by Oxford-based charity Earthwatch Institute, for its Thames Water Blitz. The biannual event, which took place on Monday, sees people across the Thames catchment scoop water samples from rivers, canals, lakes, streams and ponds and test them for substances including nitrate and phosphate.
